Welcome to No Amount of Armor, a game of cinematic mecha combat, heroic and capable pilots and tangled webs of obligation. Be on the front line of a struggle against an overwhelming force where every fight could be your last, and every favor drags you away from the good fight.

Narrative Driven, Tactically Enhanced

This game takes notes from  both narrative and tactical mecha games, combining a trimmed down, dice-driven combat system with a suite of character abilities designed to give players plenty of narrative and world-building agency. Have a down-to-the-wire encounter with the enemy in one scene, and a heartfelt moment of connection with the people you saved in the next. Get into VIP parties, dodge bullets,  revive the dead, bend luck to your will, or swallow other mecha whole; the choice is yours.

Get Into Trouble to Get What You Want

Core to the way No Amount of Armor tells stories is the Drag system. Pilots barter, lie, cheat, steal and blow things up to get what they need, be it a new module for their mech, a prayer for luck or another few inches of steel to keep them from an untimely end.

All of it comes at a cost.

Drag helps GMs and players track  who they owe favors to, and who they pissed off, acting like a second health pool that can be tapped into to change the game state by players. The only way to heal Drag on a pilot is to have the consequences of their actions catch up with them- and survive.
